The 2019 Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Contest was an exciting one! As usual, we asked designers to create a wedding dress using only Quilted Northern® toilet paper, Tape, Glue or sewing. Contestants did not disappoint. The Grand Prize Winner was Mimoza Haska of Surfside Beach, South Carolina. Donna Vincler of Brentwood, Tennessee won second place and Susan Nicholson of Kennesaw, Georgia won third place. Frank Cazares of Palm Springs, CA took the "Fan Favorite" title as voted on by fans.

Frank used vintage colored toilet paper from"Northern Brand" to add a beautiful touch!

The exciting part is that TLC network filmed our contest finale as competition on the network as "The Toilet Paper Wedding Dress Challenge." We all had a great time showcasing the makers' talent! The special was successful and we were thrilled to be offered the chance to do the show!

The TV show was recorded at a beautiful studio in New York City and aired a few months later in September 2019.

For the 2019 competition and TV special, we had 12 Gowns featured in the Finale judging. We were lucky to have Jeremiah Brent, Monte Durham and Zanna Roberts Rassi as celebrity judges! For the first time the finalists' gowns were placed in categories and judged within the categories.
